Collaborating with multiple teams across the company and using your industry experience, you will research trends and historical best sellers, create design concepts, sketches and tech packs, select fabrics and trims, and oversee the production process, to follow the garments through from concept to purchasable fruition.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead range building sessions
  • Design cohesive monthly/seasonal ranges
  • Technical CAD drawings including colour/print/pattern
  • Create CAD boards for each month and outfitting
  • Brief graphic designer on print and direction for each month/season
  • New season fabric, trim, hardware, sourcing with Suppliers
  • Manage new fabric, trim, hardware development with suppliers
  • Manage new woven labels/paper tags development with supplier
  • Set up fabric, trim, hardware, accessories libraries to manage current and future developments
  • Range Building
  • Create monthly/seasonal range boards and add style details CADS, fabric, fit details
  • Create excel range schedule add style details to help track where each style is in the development process
  • Sampling and development process
  • Work alongside garment tech for initial design handover for range development
  • Create tech packs for each style with colour, labelling, trim, fabric, print/artwork details
  • Collate and handover final style techpacks to all suppliers in line with critical path deadlines
  • Manage all proto development/Sampling process/PP and bulk production
  • Co-ordinate and run fit sessions for proto/sms/PP samples from all suppliers with garment tech
  • Supplier communication and co-ordination
  • Review supplier costs with Director/ range build pricing architecture to ensure product quality, make and fabrics are in line
Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Qualification in Fashion and Textiles
  • Experience with designing & developing accessories ideally within the fitness industry
  • Extensive textiles technology knowledge
  • Vast knowledge in international manufacturing standards and processes
  • Expansive technical knowledge of garment construction, fit, finishes, sampling process, bulk manufacturing and Qc
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to balance workload of multiple projects and communicate across departments to ensure deadlines are met

Key responsibilities of the role: 

Buying tasks: 
  • Preparing strategic seasonal buys in line with sales & OTB plans that support key brand objectives and the overall E-Commerce strategy

To be successful: 
  • A minimum of 3 years buying experience, ideally focused within an E-Commerce environment and with significant exposure to merchandise planning functions
  • Ecommerce/Digital Marketing and/or relevant Digital Technology tertiary qualification and/or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated Shopify Plus experience, you’ll be able to hit the ground running.

  • Develop embroidery artwork and templates for embroidered garments.
  • Present alternate print colourways to the Design Manager
  • Complete placement print, embroidery and templates for samples and production.
  • Consider the most economical method to set up artworks per style eg: placement, nested, borders etc.
  • Provides strike off comments via a visual aid on artwork generated for feedback to printers and embroiderers.
  • Ensure artwork development is unique and original by following up with in-house legal counsel prior to strike-off at all stages.
  • Complete final bulk artworks for production purposes working with pattern makers to achieve most efficient yields.
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Textile design
  • 3 years’ experience as a textile designer in a similar position.
  • The ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view through colour, texture and patterns.
  • Have strong design and communicative skills.
  • Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills.

You will be the first point of contact for internal and external customers for wholesale accounts and will be the first level escalation for issue resolution of the off shore team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Responding to and resolving customer inquiries and providing exceptional customer service via all communication channels visa Zendesk, Email, Phone and Socials/Chat in a timely manner
  • Supporting the offshore team members to resolve customer issue on Zendesk and providing advice and training to upskill and improve their productivity
  • Processing order fulfilment, order confirmation, adjustments and cancellations across wholesale and digital channels
  • Providing support to and regular communication with the Sales team on Orderbook Management (PO submissions, reflowing, reporting, etc.) and reporting on shipment variance adjustments
